Theraproxen™
Convenience Pack
THERAPROXEN™ is a convenience pack that includes Theramine™ and naproxen. In this dual management system, Naproxen is administered as 250 mg daily while Theramine™ is administered twice daily Naproxen used alone, treats pain and inflammation and is often used as frequently as four times per day. Theramine™ is used to manage the nutritional deficiencies associated with pain syndromes. Theraproxen™ is a management system that includes a pharmaceutical agent to treat pain and inflammation and a Medical Food to manage the associated nutritional deficiency In a clinical cross over study of patients with knee pain associated with arthritis, Theraproxen™ reduced pain in naproxen alone in four daily doses.

Naproxen: Why is this medication prescribed?
Naproxen is used to relieve the pain, tenderness, inflammation (swelling), and stiffness caused by gout, arthritis, and other inflammatory conditions. It also is used to relieve other pain, including muscle and menstrual pain and pain after surgery, dental work, or childbirth.
Theramine™: Why is this medication prescribed?
Theramine™ is a Medical Food product designed to aid in the nutritional management of pain syndromes. Theramine™ stimulates production of serotonin, GABA, norepinephrine, nitric oxide and acetylcholine, the neurotransmitters that are involved in pain disorders. If the timing and secretion of these neurotransmitters are effectively modulated, acute and chronic pain disorders are more effectively managed. Theramine™ provides L-arginine at low dose along with choline and L-glutamine to inhibit the NMDA and opioid receptors.
Theramine™ aids in the nutritional management of serotonin, GABA and acetylcholine production deficiencies in patients with pain syndromes
